Grand Straits Garden Seafood Restaurant was established in 1985 and opened at its current location. In 2005, the first comprehensive luxury food hub in Johor Bahru was refurbished at the present site. The Grand Ballroom, private wing, premium Chinese restaurant and outdoor garden restaurant were brought together.

Based on the concept of “Developing the Johor Bahru Food Tourism Industry”, the Grand Straits Garden Seafood Restaurant has invested heavily in renovating the seafood Restaurant
